Storage required for the site to work

A session identifier protects the contact form and sign-in process. The kriside_session cookie connects security checks to your browser session. It lasts for the browser session.

Your preference is kept in your browser’s local storage so it is respected across pages. Clearing the site’s browser data also removes this preference.

Optional measurement

Optional event measurement can only activate with consent. You can use the website and contact form when it is declined. Names, email addresses, and message contents are not included in measurement events.

After consent, our own system counts the normalized arrival channel, source, local landing page, and language once per browser session in a daily aggregate. PostHog also measures page views, clicks, conversion events, performance metrics, and errors, and creates heatmaps and masked session replays. The contact form is excluded from automatic capture, every input is masked, and search terms are not transmitted.

Recognising returning visitors

PostHog stores a random first-party distinct_id plus device and session identifiers in localStorage and the ph_<project-token>_posthog cookie. This recognises a returning visitor in the same browser profile for up to 365 days; visits cannot be reliably linked across devices or after browser data is cleared. As there is no signed-in user account, we do not identify visitors by email address.

Provider, legal basis, and retention

Analytics is based on your consent. Our daily report retains counts for up to 730 days and contains no raw referrer, UTM text, search term, IP address, browser identifier, or session identifier. We use PostHog, Inc. and its EU Cloud service as our processor, with processing in the European Union. The PostHog project setting discards IP addresses, and session replays are retained for 30 days. When consent is withdrawn, future collection stops and local analytics identifiers are deleted.
